How to Turn Off Notifications on Your iPhone/iPad

There are several reasons why you might want to turn off notifications on your phone. For example:

You are going into a meeting and don’t want to be interrupted by a ringing phone
You are going to a quiet place like a church or library and don’t want your phone to ring
You are getting ready for a time of focused productivity and need to eliminate distractions
