The New Year is exciting. It’s a chance to make a clean start. To make some new plans, and new promises for ourselves (we tend to call these “Resolutions.”
Unfortunately, that excitement is often short lived. Studies show that 92% of New Year’s Resolutions fail.
Manu people have given up on making New Year’s Resolutions. At one point, New Years Resolutions even became a joke for me. Along about November I’d starting saying that I should start making my resolutions for this year.
Many stop making Resolutions and choose a Word of the Year instead. I’ve done this for years. And while it’s great for setting a theme for the year, and for providing a general framework, by itself I’ve found that it’s not enough.
Instead, we need to find a way to ensure we make positive progress for the year.
And that’s what this course is about.
